MSIV is the pen name of Manuel “Manny” Silvia IV — a father, husband, storyteller, and lifelong worldbuilder who has always found pieces of himself in fantasy, music, old games, and memory.
His writing is shaped by the things he values most: family, honesty, forgiveness, legacy, and the belief that even broken people can still become a light for others.
Born Again Paladin, the first book in the Dawnbreaker Series, grew from years of reflection and creation — a story about broken people reaching toward light, old wounds becoming sources of strength, and the strange beauty of carrying love forward through darkness.
When he is not writing, he’s usually building worlds for tabletop games, sharing stories with friends, or spending time with his wife and two daughters.
His work is rooted in the belief that imagination is not an escape from life, but one of the ways we make sense of it.
